Born and raised in Redondo Beach and Palos Verdes Estates California……The best place in the world.
Growing up I attended Riviera Hall Lutheran School from Preschool to 2nd grade, while my family lived on Gertruda Avenue. We then moved to the Valmonte area of Palos Verdes where I attended Silver Spur Elementary, Malaga Cove Intermediate School/Palos Verdes Intermediate, and Palos Verdes Peninsula High School, graduating in the class of 1997. Both sets of my grandparents moved to PVE in the 1960’s and currently reside in Lunada Bay, as well as my parents, cousins, and sister, who all still live on “The Hill”.
My continuing education led me to the fashion industry where I graduated from FIDM, Los Angeles, with a Merchandising and Marketing degree. I became a merchandiser on the wholesale side of business, and then eventually opening my own clothing store for kids, called Sandy Feet. Sandy Feet was located on Catalina Avenue in the Riviera Village, Redondo Beach. It was there that I met some amazing customers and friends, and really got to know the community. I served as a member of the BID (business improvement district) in the Riviera, and really learned how the city works, where funding and tax money gets allocated, and what it takes to basically improve a city. I had a great 8 year experience running the shop, but in 2012 I decided to close the doors of Sandy Feet to pursue my other love, Real Estate.
I love architecture and design. I also love helping people with their needs; looking for that rare gem of a property, or selling their long time family home. It is an emotional process that really gives me great satisfaction when my clients reach their goals. Coming from the fashion industry prepared me for prepping homes to get ready for market; AND, I still get to use my merchandising skills! I even have a probate certification to help make sure families can sell their loved ones’ homes even if there isn’t a trust or will in place.
I chose to hang my license with Gary Elminoufi, Broker/Owner of Beach City Brokers, because of the company’s strong relationships within the community, a great ethical reputation with clients and brokers, and knowledge of the real estate business. Being a part of BCB is like having a large extended family that supports one another in their successes and failures, and constantly pushes us to do our best with a great attitude.
I currently reside in Redondo Beach with my husband, Brian, and two daughters, Mia, Megan, and my dog Phoebe. I love living here in this community, being part of Redondo Sunset Softball, AYSO Region 34, and Club Soccer teams. Everyone is so friendly and outdoorsy. We love walking to the Pier, going to the beach, riding bikes on the strand, hiking in PVE, and we are members of Branch of Hope Church in Torrance.
My girls have attended Town and Country Preschool in PVE, Alta Vista Elementary and Tulita Elementary, Rolling Hills Country Day, and now Parras Middle School and Redondo Union High School. We have certainly been around and are so fortunate to have had/have great teachers, and support from RBUSD as well as all the friends we have made along the way.
I can’t wait to meet new people and help existing clients, family, and friends with all their real estate needs.
